Effect of guilty plea
99 Effect of guilty plea
(1) An accused person may at any time in committal proceedings plead guilty to
the offence concerned. If a person pleads guilty, the provisions of this
Division apply.
(2) Rejection of a guilty plea does not prevent an
accused person from pleading guilty at a later stage in the proceedings.
