(1) Up to 3 counts may be inserted in the same indictment, against the same
person, for distinct offences of the same kind committed against the same
person.
(2) This section does not apply if more than 6 months have elapsed
between the first and last of the offences.
(3) Nothing in this section
affects the right of the Crown to insert alternative counts in any indictment.
