Transfer of inmates to or through ACT41 Transfer of inmates to or through ACT
An inmate who is in the Australian Capital Territory--
(a) while being transferred from one correctional centre to another under this Act, or
(b) while being transferred to a hospital or other place for medical attention, or
(c) while absent from a correctional centre in accordance with a local leave order or local leave permit,remains in the lawful custody of the governor of the correctional centre from which the inmate is transferred or absent.
