Visiting Magistrates
227 Visiting Magistrates
(1) A Magistrate has, by virtue of his or her
office as a Magistrate, all of the functions that are conferred or imposed on
a Visiting Magistrate by or under this or any other Act or law and, in the
exercise of those functions, is referred to as a Visiting Magistrate.
(2) A
Visiting Magistrate may at any time visit a correctional complex or
correctional centre.
