CITY OF SYDNEY ACT 1988 - SECT 33
The Planning Committee
(1) There is constituted by this Act a committee of the City Council to be
known as the Central Sydney Planning Committee.
(2) The Planning Committee
has the functions conferred or imposed on it by or under this or any other
Act.
(3) A function exercised by the Planning Committee shall be taken to
have been exercised by the City Council.
(4) The Planning Committee is not
subject to the control or direction of the City Council and the City Council
has no power to affect (by amendment or revocation or otherwise) a decision of
the Planning Committee.
(5) Any difference arising between the City Council
and the Planning Committee may be dealt with under section 742 of the
Principal Act as if it were a difference between councils.
(6) The
Planning Committee is, by virtue of this subsection, a corporation.
