Service of public notice
37A Service of public notice
(1) This section applies if service by the Commissioner of an application or
other thing by public notice is required.
(2) For service by public notice to
be effective, the Commissioner must publish a notice in a newspaper
circulating throughout the State.
(3) The notice need only state the
following: (a) the general nature of the application or other thing,
(b)
details to the extent practicable of the respondent or other person for whom
the notice was made,
(c) how copies of any relevant affidavit or other
material may be obtained or read.
