(1) On registering an interstate control order, the registrar is to specify
the date on which the registration expires.
(2) The date specified by the
registrar is to be the date on which the interstate control order would cease
to be in force in the jurisdiction in which it was made if it were not sooner
revoked.
(3) The registration of the interstate control order expires on the
specified date.
(4) Subsections (1)-(3) do not apply if, under the law of the
jurisdiction in which the interstate control order was made, the interstate
control order remains in force for an indefinite period, in which case:
(a) on
registering the order--the registrar is to specify that the registration is in
force for an indefinite period, and
(b) the registration of the interstate
control order does not expire.
