(1) The registrar must register an interstate control order that is the
subject of an application under this Division if the registrar is satisfied of
the following:
(a) that the order is in force,
(b) that the order was served,
or taken to be served, on the respondent under the law of the jurisdiction
where the order was made,
(c) that section 27N does not prevent registration
of the order,
(d) that the order does not need to be adapted or modified for
its effective operation in New South Wales.
(2) If the registrar considers
that the order needs to be adapted or modified for its effective operation in
New South Wales, the registrar must refer the application to the Court.
