Functions of Chief Inspector
149 Functions of Chief Inspector
(1) The functions of the Chief Inspector
are: (a) the control and direction of inspectors and mine safety officers, and
(b) reviewing appeals from notices issued by inspectors and mine safety
officers, and
(c) the other functions that are conferred on the Chief
Inspector by this Act or the regulations, and
(d) any other function
conferred by the Minister from time to time.
(2) For the purposes of this
Act, the Chief Inspector is an inspector.
