CATCHMENT MANAGEMENT AUTHORITIES ACT 2003 - SECT 6

6 Catchment management authorities

(1) The authorities listed in Schedule 1 from time to time are established by this Act as catchment management authorities.

(2) An authority is a body corporate with the corporate name specified in Schedule 1.

(3) An authority is a statutory body representing the Crown.

(4) An authority cannot employ any staff.

Note: Staff may be employed under Chapter 1A of the Public Sector Employment and Management Act 2002 in the Government Service to enable an authority to exercise its functions.
