Revocation of a common
61A Revocation of a common
(1) The revocation of the setting aside of land as a common is to be effected
by the Minister by notice published in the Gazette.
(2) Any such revocation
may relate to the whole or part of the land concerned.
(3) If the revocation
relates to part of the land only, the Minister may deal with that part as if
it were Crown land subject to the Crown Lands Acts and not otherwise. Note:
Section 24 provides that on the revocation of the whole of a common, the trust
established for the common is dissolved and that the Minister may deal with
any real property of the trust as if it were Crown land subject to the Crown
Lands Acts and not otherwise.
