CROWN LANDS (CONTINUED TENURES) ACT 1989 - SECT 4A
Application of Part
4A Application of Part
(1) This Part applies in respect of any lease, other than a lease of land
situated in the Western Division. Note: See, however, Division 2B of Part 7 of
the Principal Act, which applies a minimum rent to certain leases of land
situated in the Western Division.
(1A) Section 4C also applies in respect of
a permissive occupancy, other than a permissive occupancy situated in the
Western Division.
(2) The regulations may apply the provisions of this Part,
with or without modification, in respect of leases of land situated in the
Western Division. The regulations may also apply the provisions of section 4C,
with or without modification, in respect of permissive occupancies situated in
the Western Division.
(3) This Part, and any regulations made under
subsection (2), have effect despite anything to the contrary in this Act and
despite any condition to which a lease or permissive occupancy is subject.
