CONTAMINATED LAND MANAGEMENT ACT 1997 - SECT 47

In this Part, a reference to a
"statutory site audit" is a reference to a site audit carried out in order to
secure compliance with one or more of the following--
(a) a requirement under this Act,
(b) an approved voluntary management proposal,
(c) a requirement imposed by State Environmental Planning Policy No 55--Remediation of Land or by any other environmental planning instrument made under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 or by any development consent or approval given under that Act,
(d) any other requirement imposed by or under an Act,unless it is carried out only in order to secure compliance with a legal obligation arising from an agreement or arising in such other circumstances as the regulations may prescribe.
