(b) the nature of the
significant contamination (and the nature of any harm that has been or may be
caused) that the EPA believes may affect the land,
(c) the action that the
person subject to the management order must take,
(d) a reasonable period for
taking that action,
(e) any other matter prescribed by the regulations.
(2)
The period for taking action must exceed by a reasonable amount the period for
lodging an appeal against the management order, except if the EPA considers
that the nature of the harm or possible harm presented by the contamination is
so serious that, in the public interest, action during the period for lodging
an appeal is necessary.
Note : Part 6 provides for appeals.
(3) A
management order does not confer power on the person subject to it to enter or
do anything on land, for the purposes of giving effect to the
management order, without the consent of the occupier of the land.
