Dedication of neighbourhood property
(1) The neighbourhood association for a neighbourhood scheme that is not part
of a community scheme may, by registration of a plan of subdivision under
section 195 of the Conveyancing Act 1919 , dedicate some, but not all, of its
neighbourhood property-- (a) to open or widen a public road, or
(b) to create
a public reserve, or
(c) to create a drainage reserve.
(2) The
Registrar-General may refuse to register a plan dedicating
neighbourhood property unless Schedule 10 is complied with.
(3) On
registration of a plan dedicating neighbourhood property, the land in the plan
ceases to be neighbourhood property.
