CASINO, LIQUOR AND GAMING CONTROL AUTHORITY ACT 2007 - SECT 7
Members of Authority
(1) The Authority consists of: (a) the Chief Executive, and
(b) such number
of other members as are appointed by the Governor on the recommendation of the
Minister.
(2) At least one of the members of the Authority (other than the
Chief Executive) must be a person who: (a) is or has been a Judge, or
(b) has
been an Australian lawyer for at least 7 years.
(3) One of the members of the
Authority (other than the Chief Executive) is to be appointed as Chairperson
of the Authority in and by the member’s instrument of appointment or a
subsequent instrument executed by the Governor.
(4) One of the other members
of the Authority (other than the Chief Executive) is to be appointed as Deputy
Chairperson of the Authority in and by the member’s instrument of
appointment or a subsequent instrument executed by the Governor.
(5) Schedule
1 has effect with respect to the members and procedure of the Authority.
