Effect of licence
7 Effect of licence
(1) A licensee is not guilty of an offence under Part 2.1 of the Legal
Profession Uniform Law (NSW) in respect of conveyancing work that the licensee
carries out in accordance with this Act, the regulations and the conditions of
the licence.
(2) This section does not permit a licensee to do anything, or
to allow anything to be done, that is calculated to imply that the licensee is
qualified to act as a solicitor.
