CROWN LANDS ACT 1989 - SECT 33
Identification of uses
33 Identification of uses
(1) In identifying suitable uses for land and, where practicable, the
preferred use or uses, regard shall be had to: (a) the particulars relating to
the land as contained in the inventory,
(b) the assessment of the land’s
capabilities,
(c) the principles of Crown land management and any current
policies relating to the land approved by the Minister, and
(d) the views of
any government department, administrative office or public authority which has
expressed an interest in the land.
(2) The Minister may from time to time
cause an identified preferred use to be reviewed and either confirmed or
varied having regard to any changes in the particulars contained in the
inventory or the capabilities of or policies relating to the land.
