Power to require information
27 Power to require information
(1) An inspector who has entered premises for the purpose of making an
inspection referred to in section 25 may, to the extent that it is reasonably
necessary to ascertain whether orders or requirements of the approved company
in the exercise of any of its functions under Division 2 or 3 of this Part or
Part 4 have been complied with, require a person to answer any questions put
by the inspector and to produce any books, records or documents required by
the inspector.
(2) An inspector is not entitled to make a requirement of a
person under this section unless the inspector produces his or her notice of
appointment as an inspector for inspection by the person.
