CLASSIFICATION (PUBLICATIONS, FILMS AND COMPUTER GAMES) ENFORCEMENT ACT 1995 - SECT 58

58 Evidence
(1) In any proceedings for an offence under this Act or the Crimes Act 1900 ,
a certificate issued under the Commonwealth Act signed (or purporting to be
signed) by the Director, Deputy Director or Convenor and stating that: (a) a
film, publication or computer game is classified as specified in the
certificate, or
(b) a film, publication or computer game is not classified,
or is not classified at a classification specified in the certificate, or
(c)
an advertisement described in the certificate is approved, or has been refused
approval or has not been approved, under the Commonwealth Act,
is admissible
and is prima facie evidence of the matters stated in the certificate.
(2)
Subsection (1) extends to a certificate (whether given before or after the
commencement of this subsection) that states a matter: (a) at the time the
certificate is given, or at any other earlier specified time, or
(b) in
respect of any specified period before the certificate is given.
