CHARITABLE FUNDRAISING ACT 1991 - SECT 49
Authorised inspectors
(1) The Minister may appoint any person to be an inspector for the purposes of
this Act.
(2) The Minister may authorise a police officer or other person to
exercise such of the functions of an authorised inspector under this Act as
the Minister may direct.
(3) The regulations may authorise police officers of
or above any specified rank to exercise all or any specified functions of an
authorised inspector under this Act.
