Application for licence
46 Application for licence
(1) An application for a licence is to be lodged with the Authority in a form
approved by the Authority and must be accompanied by: (a) the fee determined
by the Authority, and
(b) such documents (if any) as may be specified by the
Authority or as the form of application requires accompany the application,
and
(c) a certificate by the casino operator who employs or is proposing to
employ the applicant as to the competence of the applicant to exercise the
functions specified in the certificate.
(2) The information provided in and
accompanying the application must be verified by statutory declaration.
(3)
The Authority may require the applicant to consent to having his or her
photograph, finger prints and palm prints taken and may refuse to consider the
application if the applicant refuses to allow his or her photograph, finger
prints or palm prints to be taken.
(4) An application for a licence may not
be made by a person who is under the age of 18 years or is a person within a
class of persons prescribed as being ineligible to apply for a licence.
