Rescuing persons from lawful custody
35 Rescuing persons from lawful custody
A person who, by force, rescues or attempts to rescue a detainee from lawful
custody is guilty of an offence and liable to a penalty not exceeding 10
penalty units or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 12 months, or both.
