COAL AND OIL SHALE MINE WORKERS (SUPERANNUATION) ACT 1941 - SECT 19AA
Records and notices relating to employment of mine worker
19AA Records and notices relating to employment of mine worker
(1) An owner must keep, in a form approved by the Corporate Trustee and in
relation to each mine worker employed by the owner, a record of: (a) the date
of birth of the mine worker, and
(b) the date on which the mine worker became
employed by the owner, and
(c) the date on which the mine worker ceased to be
employed by the mine owner.
(2) As soon as practicable after a mine worker
ceases to be employed by an owner, the owner must give a written notice that
complies with subsection (3) to the Corporate Trustee. Maximum penalty: 5
penalty units.
(3) The notice is to contain the following particulars: (a)
the name of the mine worker, and
(b) the date on which the mine worker ceased
to be employed by the owner, and
(c) the reason for the cessation of
employment of the mine worker.
