Meaning of "relevant post mortem investigative function"95 Meaning of "relevant post mortem investigative function"
For the purposes of this Part, a
"relevant post mortem investigative function" means any of the following
functions of a coroner or assistant coroner--
(a) the function of issuing a post mortem investigation direction for the conduct of post mortem examinations on deceased persons,
(b) the function of authorising the retention of whole organs of deceased persons under section 90.
