Appointment of administrator by Registrar
332A Appointment of administrator by Registrar
(1) The Registrar may, after an inquiry into the affairs of a co-operative
under Division 2 or 4 of Part 14, appoint a person as an administrator for the
purposes of the provisions of Part 5.3A of the Corporations Act (as applying
under section 332) if the Registrar is of the opinion that the co-operative is
insolvent or likely to become insolvent at some future time.
(2) The person
appointed by the Registrar need not be a registered liquidator within the
meaning of the Corporations Act 2001 of the Commonwealth.
