BUSINESS NAMES ACT 2002 - SECT 34
Authorised officers
(1) The Director-General may appoint any member of staff of the Department as
an authorised officer for the purposes of this Act.
(2) An investigator
appointed under section 18 of the Fair Trading Act 1987 is taken to be an
authorised officer appointed under subsection (1).
