BANANA INDUSTRY ACT 1987 - SECT 3
The Committee
(1) There is constituted by this Act a corporation under the corporate name of
the “Banana Industry Committee”.
(2) The Committee is not, for any
purpose, a statutory body representing the Crown.
(3) The Committee is to
consist of: (a) 2 persons appointed by the Minister, and
(b)
regional members.
(4) Schedule 1 has effect with respect to the members.
(5)
Schedule 2 has effect with respect to the procedure of the Committee.
