BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES REGISTRATION ACT 1995 - SECT 58

58 Unauthorised access to or interference with Register

A person must not, without the authority of the Registrar or other lawful authority--

(a) obtain access to the Register or information contained in the Register, or

(b) make, alter or delete an entry in the Register, or

(c) interfere with the Register in any other way.

: Maximum penalty--100 penalty units or 2 years imprisonment, or both.
