4.35 Establishment of Program
(1) The Environment Agency Head is to
establish a Biodiversity Conservation Program.
(2) The Program's objectives
are-- (a) to maximise the long-term security of threatened species and
threatened ecological communities in nature, and
(b) to minimise the impacts
of key threatening processes on biodiversity and ecological integrity.
