(1) Proceedings for an offence under this Act or
the regulations, other than an offence for which a maximum penalty on
indictment is specified, are to be dealt with summarily before the
Local Court.
(2) Chapter 5 of the Criminal Procedure Act 1986 applies to an
offence under this Act for which a maximum penalty on indictment is specified.
