54 Notices
(1) The authorised officer or court to whom a bail undertaking is given by an
accused person shall forthwith give or cause to be given to the accused
person: (a) a copy of the undertaking or a notice setting out the terms of the
undertaking, and
(b) a copy of any bail conditions imposed or a notice
setting out the terms of any such conditions.
(2) The authorised officer or
court to or with whom a person, other than the accused person, makes an
acknowledgment, agreement or deposit of security or money pursuant to a
bail condition shall forthwith give or cause to be given to that other person
a copy of the condition or a notice setting out the terms of the condition.
(3) Where: (a) a bail condition is altered under section 41, or
(b) a
bail condition is imposed or varied on a review pursuant to Division 2 of Part
6 of a decision to grant bail,
the authorised officer or court shall forthwith
give or cause to be given: (c) to the accused person-a copy of the condition
or a notice setting out the terms of the condition, and
(d) to any other
person who makes an acknowledgment or enters into an agreement, pursuant to
the condition-a copy of the condition or a notice setting out the terms of the
condition.
(3A) Where: (a) a bail condition is altered under section 41, or
(b) a bail condition is varied on a review pursuant to Division 2 of Part 6 of
a decision to grant bail,
the court must forthwith give or cause to be given
to any person other than the accused who entered into an agreement or made an
acknowledgment pursuant to the condition that is altered or varied a copy of
the condition as altered or varied.
(4) The court continuing bail on an
adjournment shall forthwith give or cause to be given to the accused person a
notice specifying the time and place to which the proceedings are adjourned.
(5) The authorised officer or court granting or refusing bail shall forthwith
give or cause to be given to the accused person such information in writing as
is prescribed by the regulations respecting the review of decisions, in
relation to bail and the further powers of courts in relation to bail.
