(1) The Secretary can approve such arrangements as he or she considers
appropriate to facilitate the joint collection and disclosure of information
about a person that relates both to ART treatment and a surrogacy arrangement,
including arrangements that permit:
(a) a single application or notice of
consent to be made or given in relation to information held on the
central register both under Division 2 and under this Division, and
(b) a
single disclosure to be made by the Secretary of information that is required
to be disclosed both under Division 2 and under this Division.
(2) A
provision of this Part that permits the regulations to prescribe a fee in
respect of an application or notice given under Division 2 or this Division
also permits a single fee to be prescribed for an application or notice that
relates to both Division 2 and this Division.
