ABORIGINAL LAND RIGHTS ACT 1983 - SECT 243A

243A Effect of suspension of Board members and councillors

A councillor or Board member, while suspended from office under this Act--

(a) is not entitled to exercise any functions of the office, and

(b) is not entitled to any fee or other remuneration to which he or she would otherwise be entitled as the holder of the office, and

(c) is not to be counted as a voting member of the Council or Board for the purposes of determining the quorum required for a meeting of the Council or Board.
