(1) A consultant who is engaged by an Aboriginal Land Council and who gives
advice on a matter at a meeting of the Council must disclose the nature of
each pecuniary interest the person has in the matter to the meeting at the
time the advice is given.
(2) The person is not required to disclose the
person's interest as a consultant.
(3) A person does not breach this section
if the person did not know and could not reasonably be expected to have known
that the matter on which the advice was given was a matter in which the person
had a pecuniary interest.
