(1) The Chief Executive Officer is generally responsible for the efficient and
effective operation of the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council's
organisation and for ensuring the implementation, without undue delay, of
decisions of the Council.
(2) The Chief Executive Officer has the following
particular functions--
(a) the day-to-day management of the Council's affairs,
(a1) to assist in the preparation and implementation of the Council's
community, land and business plan,
(b) the exercise of such of the functions
of the Council as are delegated by the Council to the Chief Executive Officer,
(c) the appointment of members of staff in accordance with the staff
organisation structure and resources approved by the Council,
(d) the
direction and dismissal of members of staff.
(3) The Chief Executive Officer
has such other functions as may be conferred or imposed on the Chief Executive
Officer by or under this or any other Act.
