AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY SERVICES ACT 1998 - SECT 36
Use of force
36 Use of force
(1) Reasonable force may be used for the purpose of gaining entry to any land
under a power conferred by this Part, but only if authorised by the
Director-General in accordance with this section.
(2) The authority: (a) must
be in writing, and
(b) must be given in respect of the particular entry
concerned, and
(c) must specify the circumstances that must exist before
force may be used.
(3) An inspector who uses force for the purpose of gaining
entry to land must promptly advise the Director-General of that fact.
