New South Wales Consolidated Acts New South Wales Consolidated ActsWhere, in a document required by or for the purposes of this Act or lodged with or submitted to the Director-General or in a declaration made under this Act or in a document submitted to a meeting of members of an incorporated association, a person:
(a) makes or authorises the making of a statement that to the person’s knowledge is false or misleading in any material particular, or
(b) omits or authorises the omission of any matter or thing without which the document is to the person’s knowledge misleading in any material respect,the person is guilty of an offence and liable to a penalty not exceeding 5 penalty units.
