New South Wales Consolidated ActsThe body corporate mentioned in section sixty-four of the Constitution is
hereby incorporated under the name of “The Church of England in Australia
Trust Corporation”, and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal,
and may sue and be sued by its corporate name, and shall be capable of taking
purchasing holding granting demising disposing of or otherwise dealing with
real and personal property, and of doing and suffering all such other acts and
things as are set forth in the Constitution and which bodies corporate may by
law do and suffer.
The first corporators of the said corporation shall be the persons
respectively holding the following offices on the date when this Act comes
into operation, namely:
The Archbishop of Sydney.
The Archbishop of Melbourne.
The Bishop of Newcastle.
The Bishop of Canberra and Goulburn.
The Bishop of Ballarat.During their tenure of office a majority of the corporators for the time being shall constitute a quorum at any meeting thereof.
