AGL CORPORATE CONVERSION ACT 2002 - SECT 14
Corporatised AGL is continuation of AGL
(1) Subject to the provisions of this Part and to the fullest extent possible,
corporatised AGL is taken for all purposes, including the rules of private
international law, to be a continuation of the same company, and the same
legal entity, as AGL.
(2) Without limiting subsection (1), the conversion of
AGL into a body corporate by this Act does not constitute a dissolution or
termination of AGL. Accordingly, AGL is not required to wind up its affairs or
pay its liabilities and distribute its assets as a result of the operation of
this Act.
