Occupational Licensing Legislation Amendment (Regulatory Reform) Clause 1 Bill 2009 The Legislature of New South Wales enacts: 1 1 Name of Act 2 This Act is the Occupational Licensing Legislation Amendment 3 (Regulatory Reform) Act 2009. 4 2 Commencement 5 (1) Except as provided by subsection (2), this Act commences on 1 July 6 2009 or the date of assent to this Act, whichever is the later. 7 (2) Schedules 1, 4.1­4.4, 4.6 [2] and [4], 4.7 and 4.9­4.11 commence on 8 1 July 2010. 9 Page 2

However, the person is 20 liable for damages and subject to any other remedy in respect of 21 a breach of the contract committed by the person. 22 (2) This section does not affect the liability of the person for an 23 offence against a provision of or made under this or any other 24 Act. 25 [24] Section 17 Misrepresentations about contractor licences or certificates 26 Omit section 17 (1) (b) and (c).
