An Act to amend the Law Enforcement and National Security (Assumed
Identities) Act 1998 to enable the Australian Taxation Office to be prescribed as
an authorised agency for the purposes of the Act.
I have examined this Bill, and find it to correspond in all respects with the Bill
as finally passed by both Houses.

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:
1 Name of Act
This Act is the Law Enforcement and National Security (Assumed
Identities) Amendment Act 2002.
2 Commencement
This Act commences on the date of assent.
3 Amendment of Law Enforcement and National Security (Assumed
Identities) Act 1998 No 154
The Law Enforcement and National Security (Assumed Identities)
Act 1998 is amended by inserting after paragraph (e) (v) of the
definition of authorised agency in section 3:
(vi) the Australian Taxation Office.
