WORKPLACE RELATIONS ACT 1996 - SECT 916
Pay for apprentices who were school-based apprentices(1) Subsection (2) applies for the purposes of determining the rate of pay under an APCS for a full‑time apprentice doing the same kind of work he or she did as a school‑based apprentice.
(2) The person's time as a full‑time apprentice is taken to include the period calculated using the formula:

"time as a school-based apprentice" means the time for which the person was a school-based apprentice.
