Commencement


  1. These Regulations commence on the date of commencement of section 48 of
the Industry, Technology and Commerce Legislation Amendment Act (No. 2) 1989.

Fees


  2. Regulation 4 of the Trade Marks Regulations is amended by adding at the
end the following subregulation:
  "(5) For the purposes of subsection 129 (4) of the Act, the Registrar is to
notify the person or his or her agent in writing within 7 days after the
lodging of the document, or the doing of the act, for which the fee is
payable.".
