Citation


  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Satellite Communications
Regulations.

Interpretation


  2. (1) In these Regulations, "the Act" means the Satellite Communications
Act 1984.
  (2) In these Regulations, a reference to the Postmaster-General of New
Zealand shall be read as a reference to the New Zealand Minister of the Crown
appointed to be Postmaster-General or to another Minister of the Crown acting
for and on behalf of that Minister.

Eligible person for the purposes of section 18 of the Act


  3. The Postmaster-General of New Zealand is declared to be an eligible
person for the purposes of section 18 of the Act.
