Regulation 119 of the Principal Regulations is amended - (a) by omitting from paragraph (a) "$49,990" and substituting "$51,290"; and (b) by omitting from paragraph (b) "$20" and substituting "$20.50". 1985 No. 283 SEAMEN'S COMPENSATION REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 4 Amount prescribed for the purposes of sub-paragraph (1)(b) of Schedule 1 to the Act 4. Regulation 120 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "$160.60" and substituting "$164.80". 1985 No. 283 SEAMEN'S COMPENSATION REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 5 Application 5. (1) An amendment of the Principal Regulations made by these Regulations, being an amendment of an amount of weekly compensation payable under the Seamen's Compensation Act 1911, applies in respect of any week commencing on or after 1 November 1985. (2) An amendment of the Principal Regulations made by these Regulations, being an amendment (other than an amendment referred to in sub-regulation (1)) in respect of an amount of compensation under the Seamen's Compensation Act 1911, applies in respect of - (a) an injury sustained or a disease suffered by a seaman on or after 1 November 1985; or (b) a loss or event that occurs on or after 1 November 1985 resulting from an injury sustained, or a disease suffered, by a seaman before that date. - NOTES 1985 No. 283*1* SEAMEN'S COMPENSATION REGULATIONS*2* (AMENDMENT) *1*Notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 31 October 1985. *2*Statutory Rules 1926 No. 135 as amended to date.
