Citation


  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Petroleum (Submerged Lands)
(Exploration Permit Fees) Regulations.

Interpretation


  2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears:
   "the Act" means the Petroleum (Submerged Lands) (Exploration Permit Fees)
Act 1967.

Permit fees-subsection 4 (1) of the Act


  3. For the purposes of subsection 4 (1) of the Act, the fee payable is:
  (a)  $1,000; or
  (b)  an amount calculated at a rate of $50 for each block to which the
permit relates at the commencement of the year;
whichever is the greater.
