Citation


  1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Residue Survey Levy
Regulations.

Commencement


  2. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1993.

National Residue Survey Levy


  3. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 9 (2) (b) of the National Residue
Survey Administration Act 1992, the rate of National Residue Survey levy
prescribed in relation to a product or activity specified in subregulation (2)
is $0.00.
  (2) For the purposes of subregulation (1) the following products and
activities are specified:
  (a) the slaughter of deer;
  (b) leviable coarse grains;
  (c) leviable grain legumes;
  (d) leviable oilseeds;
  (e) wheat;
  (f) honey within the meaning of the National Residue Survey (Honey Export)
Levy Act 1992;
  (g) honey within the meaning of the National Residue Survey (Honey) Levy Act
1992;
  (h) the milk fat content of relevant dairy produce;
  (i) onions;
  (j) potatoes;
  (k) apples and pears;
  (l) citrus fruits;
  (m) table grapes;
  (n) stone fruits;
  (o) dried fruits.

NRS Levy - aquatic animals


  4. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 6 (1) (b) of the National Residue
Survey (Aquatic Animal Export) Levy Act 1992, the rate of National Residue
Survey levy prescribed in relation to aquatic animals of a class specified in
subregulation (2), or aquatic animal products produced from aquatic animals of
a class specified in subregulation (2), is $0.00.
  (2) For the purposes of subregulation (1) the following classes of aquatic
animals are specified:
  (a) fin fish;
  (b) abalone;
  (c) other crustaceans and molluscs;
  (d) any other aquatic animal.
