Commencement


  1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 26 January 1982.

General Register of Seamen


  2. Regulation 4 of the Navigation (Master and Seamen) Regulations is amended
by omitting from sub-regulation (2) "British ship at a port in Australia or a
ship registered in Australia at any port" and substituting "ship to which Part
II of the Act applies".

Entries relating to births, deaths, &c., in log-book


  3. Regulation 25 of the Navigation (Master and Seamen) Regulations is
amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1) "paragraphs 417 (1) (d) and 417
(2) (b)" and substituting "paragraph 417 (1) (d)".

Schedule 2


  4. Schedule 2 to the Navigation (Master and Seamen) Regulations is amended
-
  (a) by omitting from Forms 4, 5, 7, 11, 12 and 14 "Port of Registry" and
substituting "Home Port"; and
  (b) by omitting from Form 13 "sub-section 417 (2)".
