MIGRATION REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) 1991 No. 2 - REG 19.
Regulation 146 (Qualifications—suitability for employment)
19.1
Subparagraph 146 (1) (k) (i):
Omit "normal", substitute "usual".
19.2
Subregulation 146 (2):
Omit the
subregulation, substitute:
"(2) In this regulation:
`the Professional-Equivalent Occupation List' and
`the Technical-Equivalent Occupation List' mean the lists of occupations, by
those respective names, that the Minister declares by notice published in the
Gazette to be lists of Professional-Equivalent Occupations or
Technical-Equivalent Occupations;
`usual occupation' means an occupation that
the applicant has engaged in for gain or reward for a continuous period of at
least 6 months during the period of 2 years immediately preceding the relevant
application for a visa or entry permit.".
